VITAMIN C COMPLEX Print

Vitamin C Complex Diagram

VITAMIN C COMPLEX

A diagram of the complete vitamin C complex is on the right. Don’t be misled by the manufacturer’s advertising that ascorbic acid or any part of the complex is the whole. Similar to the vitamin E complex, the body must scavenge for any missing parts of the incomplete vitamin to function properly.

Unfortunately, copper deficiency is one result of taking high doses of ascorbic acid. The body takes copper and the other missing parts from its reserves in order to piece together a whole vitamin C complex.

Wouldn’t it be healthier to take a vitamin that was complete in the first place and avoid the unhealthy body response of depletion?

Why you don't want to take Vitamin C as Ascorbic Acid :

Basically it's very simple. It's like me selling you a car and giving you only the front tire.

Some of the known missing parts are:

  • K factor: This is the part that promotes prothrombin the clotting factor.

  • P factor: Contains some of the bioflavonoids, rutin, which maintains vascular integrity. These are deficient in people who bruise easily. Their blood vessles break or rupture too easily and bleed.

  • J factor: The J factor increases the oxygen carrying capacity of the blood.

But my vitamin says it's organic and natural, isn't that good?

This is some tricky labeling deception here. You see, synthetic vitamin c (ascorbic acid) can be called natural and organic because it contains carbon molecules, as it is a derivative of petroleum.
